Who is Dr. Post?

The following is a Biography written to update the information that healthgrades.com had on their website. This outdated and incorrect information is also included on other similar websites and will be updated as time allows. Some of the information was from Dr. Charles Zupfer’s dental office, formerly at our location, which closed in 2004. It was time for an update, so the information has been corrected and also wrote about how Dr. Post got started in chiropractic. Here’s what was written:

Wanting to help people, Dr. Post initially obtained an A.S. Degree in Law Enforcement from Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) at Rochester, MN in 1997. Around this time, he began suffering from relentless heartburn, taking Rolaids every single day just to get by. He knew if he brought this up to a medical provider, they would most likely prescribe a proton-pump inhibitor (the hot new medication at that time for conditions like this). That he didn’t want any part of, it just didn’t fit with his idea of health.

After about six months of suffering, his parents told him that he should visit the chiropractor in Lake City, MN that they had been seeing mostly to see if there was anything they could do to help Type-1 Diabetes which he was diagnosed with at the age of 22-months. He agreed and went, but not knowing about anything that chiropractors do, he didn’t mention the heartburn that he had been suffering from. To his amazing surprise, after his first chiropractic treatment the heartburn he had been suffering from for 6 straight months totally disappeared and never bothered him again.

He was amazed and astounded by how much his life changed by a person, a chiropractor, laying his hands on him and delivering a chiropractic adjustment. After this, he considered his options, still wanting to help people. He decided to enroll in pre-chiropractic courses at RCTC and learn this healing profession. After two years of classes such as biochemistry, organic chemistry, and other very boring and uninteresting subjects he enrolled into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO (just outside of St. Louis, MO).

After countless hours and a lot of studying subjects like gross anatomy with human dissection, public health, microbiology, and adjusting courses such as Diversified, Gonstead, Activator Methods, etc. he graduated in 2002. He started as an associate chiropractor at Advance Chiropractic in Rochester, MN. He worked there for over five years, during which he further studied Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique (AMCT) and Dr. John Brimhall’s techniques. He also gained experience in evaluating and treating patients with many different conditions, though, mostly centered around pain with some emphasis on wellness.

After a stint in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation, thanks to Dr. B. During this, he opened his own practice, Zumbrota Chiropractic in Zumbrota, MN. He continued providing chiropractic services in a relaxed manner, not pushing people to come in several times per week or to buy other services, products or supplements. This is the type of practice Dr. Post wanted to run one without pushing people to do or buy things they don’t want to; unlike the clinic he had been employed by before. At Advance Chiropractic he was frequently told to see patients more often, push for more x-rays (or radiographs), sell other products like insoles and supplements. Dr. Post wasn’t happy there and being told he needed to be a pusher. He does not like to be pushed to be something he is not and pushing people into something they don’t want.

Dr. Post is proud to be unlike what Advance Chiropractic wanted him to be and patients love him for that. They know that when they come in to see him, he won’t be pressuring you to come in several times per week, buy products or equipment they don’t want or supplements they don’t want to take. Practice is fun just focusing on helping people truly heal and feel better as quickly as possible without high pressure distractions.

Dr. Post employs Zone Technique which balances the body in a special way to unlock and unleash the body’s truly powerful ability to heal from almost anything. Pain – no problem, acute or chronic digestive issues – no problem, monthly female cycle issues (headaches, pain, etc.) – no problem, recurrent headaches or migraines – no problem, circulatory issues – no problem or other issues – no problem.
